Fifteen hours.
Fifteen hours and I will be boarding a plane to New York that will take me to Athens, Greece. For those of you who are unaware, it is a two week study-abroad trip to Greece and Turkey where I will be following the footsteps of the Apostle Paul; we'll visit sites such as Athens, Corinth, Ephesus, Delphi, Philippi, Laodicea, Istanbul and others.
To be honest, it's still very surreal to me. I have my passport and a wad of cash sitting on my desk with my nearly empty suitcase on the floor beside me, and I still have not quite grasped the fact that in fifteen hours I will be starting this dream. Maybe when I'm all done packing, repacking, and consulting my non-existent check list I will actually believe I am going to Greece in less than a day.
Well, no matter what, I am going; the nerves have yet to hit me, the sensation of leaving home is gone, and terrific excitement remains.
God speed! May you learn much and grow even more! May you meet many wonderful people and make a new life-long friend!
